With a lime tree out back and cilantro in the garden, we make this creamy green goodness very often and schmere it on everything. Most guac recipes add tomato, red onion, and/or jalapeno, but I really like it just simple and amazing!
- 1 ripe avocado, scooped and mashed
- 2 T fresh cilantro, chopped
- juice of one half lime
- zest of 1/2 lime
- small pinch salt
Combine all and serve immediately. If you have to wait, cover with plastic wrap right on the guacamole, and chill.
