Cool Lemon Dessert

This recipe is so great! My mom made it all the time when I was growing up. The layers meld together into this tangy, lemony, creamy, nutty deliciousness! It is my childhood wrapped in Cool Whip.

Cool Lemon Dessert 

Crust:

  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • ¾ c walnuts, chopped

Combine and press into a 13×9-in baking dish. Bake at 350F, 20 minutes.

1st layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 1 c Cool Whip

Combine and spread over cooled crust.

2nd layer:

  • 2 pkgs instant lemon pudding
  • 3-1/2 c milk

Combine and spread over cheese layer.

Top with more Cool Whip and chopped nuts. Chill.
