Bacon-Wrapped Roast Asparagus

  • 16 large asparagus spears woody ends trimmed off
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • Chef Prudhomme's Veggie Magic seasoning
  • 8 slices center-cut bacon


  • Heat oven to 425F.
  • Cut the bacon slices in half crosswise. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the asparagus. Season with salt, pepper, and veggie magic, and toss. Wrap each asparagus spear in half a piece of bacon. Bake at 425F for 15-18 minutes until bacon is crisp. Serves 4, but this can easily be scaled up to feed a bunch.
