Walnut Lime Tart

For the crust

  • 1 c chopped walnuts
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 1 c all-purpose flour

For the filling

  • 2 eggs beaten until fluffy
  • 1 15 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c fresh lime juice
  • 1 T lime zest
  • 1/4 t kosher salt


  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the crust. Press into a tart pan or pie plate.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the lime filling. Pour over the walnut crust. Bake at 350F for approximately 20 minutes until filling is just set. Cool completely and serve with whipped cream, if desired.
