Lemon Bars

This recipe is from my mom 🙂

Lemon Bars

  • 1 c flour
  • ¼ c powdered sugar
  • ½ c unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 T lemon zest
  • ½ t baking powder

Mix flour, powdered sugar, and butter. Press into an ungreased pan (I used a  8×11 (2-qt dish in the photo above). Bake 15 min at 350.

Beat eggs and sugar. Stir in remaining ingredients and pour over crust. Bake 18-20 min (until lightly browned).

Let the dish cool completely, and chill in the fridge before cutting out the bars. Before cutting, dust with powdered sugar.
