Grammy Peggy’s Holiday Sweet Potatoes
- white sweet potatoes (if available, otherwise use regular sweet potatoes)
- brown sugar
- unsalted butter
Gram bakes the potatoes until tender, the peels them and cuts them in half lengthwise. Next, she melts butter in a skillet and adds brown sugar (only she knows the exact quantities — I figure equal parts). Then, she adds the potatoes and warms/cooks them in the butter sauce, turning to coat.
