This recipe is from my friend Kathy. It’s a super easy, throw together dessert that tastes like it took a lot more effort than it did.
- 2 (8oz) pkgs crescent rolls
- 2 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
- 1 c sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/4 c margarine, melted
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/2 c sugar
Unroll one tube of dough and place in a lightly greased 9×13 pan; seal seams.
In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla. Spread cream cheese over top of dough. Unroll the other tube of dough and stretch to fit over filling.
Pour melted margarine over top.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle on top of margarine.
Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
