This gorgeous side is worthy of any special occasion or holiday spread. They can even be assembled in advance, then just throw them in the oven before serving. Easy, delicious, and beautiful.
- 16 large asparagus spears, woody ends trimmed off
- extra virgin olive oil
- kosher salt
- fresh cracked pepper
- Chef Prudhomme's Veggie Magic seasoning
- 8 slices center-cut bacon
- Heat oven to 425F.
- Cut the bacon slices in half crosswise. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the asparagus. Season with salt, pepper, and veggie magic, and toss. Wrap each asparagus spear in half a piece of bacon. Bake at 425F for 15-18 minutes until bacon is crisp. Serves 4, but this can easily be scaled up to feed a bunch.
